Features & Highlights
rotor splinter
The stackable shims ULP made of pressure-stable and heavy-duty PVC plastic are available in 4 versions, 240x240x50mm (0 pegs), 240x240x53mm (4 pegs), 480x240x50mm (0 pegs), 480x240x53mm (8 pegs). The shims have been proven to provide support, stability, load bearing, isolation, decoupling and load distribution. Often containers, scaffolding, stages, equipment, machinery, building components, prefabricated concrete parts, vehicles, sales stands, trailers, and caravans are underlaid with these boards.
Shims are modular, variable and individually stackable
The shims without pins have a flat / smooth surface and are suitable as a support. The shims with the 3mm thick and round pegs on top are used as stacking blocks or building blocks, which are variable in height and surface stackable and buildable. All versions are equipped with round recesses on the underside to accommodate the also round tenons. This allows the shims either to be stacked vertically on top of each other or to be interlocked together.
Shims for levelling, leveling, isolating, decoupling
Due to these multifunctional properties, the shims have proven their worth for many years as a simple and safe means of compensating for or creating height differences, level differences and uneven floors . Another advantage is that direct contact of an object with the subfloor or floor covering is avoided. This isolates or decouples the body object from the ground and protects it from dirt, water and frost.
Load distribution plates made of wood, concrete or plastic
Do you still use wooden beams, scaffolding planks, formwork boards, concrete blocks, concrete slabs or even palestones for underlayment or support? Then you know all the disadvantages of wood and concrete. In comparison to wood or concrete , plastic shims are much more durable, weather-resistant and, above all, have a higher load-bearing capacity. Compared to wood, plastic does not rot, does not spilt, does not soak and is not affected by fungi or the like. Thus, wood must be replaced, replaced and purchased again and again. Also, the plastic can not crack like concrete due to frost damage.
Clear advantages for the plastic shims from Securatek
The plastic shims are more durable, weather-resistant and, above all, significantly more efficient than solutions made of wood or concrete. In comparison, they offer excellent quality, strength and very high load-bearing capacity for optimal load distribution, with significantly smaller dimensions and dead weight. They also offer high resistance to other environmental influences and chemicals, mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and low moisture absorption.
Lightweight and safe to use
Shims are recommended for use on hard load-bearing floors such as concrete, asphalt, pavement, hall floors, marble, granite, tiles, etc. or other sensitive floors or those requiring protection. The shims are particularly easy to use.
