At Stuttgart Airport, a defective pipeline on a combined storage tank had to be replaced. In the heavily softened meadow, ruts were to be avoided as far as possible, nor were the vehicles and machines allowed to get bogged down in order not to interfere with flight operations through recovery.

In this reference, a defective pipeline on a combined storage tank was replaced at Stuttgart Airport. With the help of our s:tek high performance ground protection plate, to protect the ground or the lawn. 

Trackways and avoid driving grooves with trackway mats

The construction site was located on a large meadow. Since over the meadow large construction vehicles, such as: Trucks, excavators and other vehicles were to drive, a way had to be found to protect the subsoil so that no Trackways and grooves were left behind. 

Ground protection plates for load distribution, loadable up to 120t depending on the subsoil 

The s:tek 48 heavy-duty ground protection plate has a profile on both sides (profile selectable) which is intended to prevent the plate from remaining stable and non-slip even on soft ground, such as mud or ground softened by rain.
The ground protection plate can bear loads of up to approx. 120 tons, so it was very suitable for this project.
