The ground anchor or ground hook is a solid U-shaped bent bracket made of torsion-resistant steel to improve the locality by fixing and anchoring of driving plates & ground protection plates especially in the terrain with incline, decline, longitudinal slope and / or cross slope. Thanks to the U-shape, there are no sharp edges as with simple bent ground pegs or tent pegs, this prevents e.g. slashing of air-filled tires. At the same time, the risk of injury due to stoplern or getting stuck is significantly reduced. We recommend the ground anchor made of steel to fix our driving plates in the terrain on soft ground.
Ground anchor prevents slipping of plates
The ground anchor in combination with the single and double steel connectors reduces the likelihood of slipping plates. This is particularly advantageous in terrain with slopes or inclines in order to ensure permanent ground protection. Likewise, you should use the ground anchor in curves, so that occurring shear forces can be better counteracted by steering movements. The ground anchor is about 400mm long and about 124mm wide. The material thickness of the steel is approx. ø 12.0 mm in diameter. The ends of the ground anchor are pointed to facilitate the insertion into the ground.
