The Installation of the protective covering or the cover plates is made in a 2-layer system.

First, a 3mm thick rubber granulate mat / construction protection mat made of Kaustschuk was laid as the first layer on the coated road surface of the underground garage for decoupling and damping.

As a second layer, the 40kg lightweight s:tek high performance floor protection panels were laid by hand on top of the structural protection mat. The HDPE plastic floor protection mats provide the necessary load distribution and, thanks to the profiled top, the necessary traction and slip resistance for the access ramps in the parking garage.

After the protective pavement had been laid at lightning speed, the heavy diesel generator could be moved or replaced. In addition to the protection of the road surface, the time or duration of the move was important in order not to close the parking garage for an unnecessarily long time.
