In this reference, a driveway for a carport was constructed with the help of Grass Grid RG24 so that the lawn area can be driven on without creating visible Trackways or driving channels.
First, the surface was straightened so that it is almost level with the carport ground. The production of a substructure is not absolutely necessary, since the Grass Grid "On-Top" can be laid, but it is recommended. For the Installation itself, there is information in the installation instructions.
By "on-top " Installation is meant that no substructure has to be made, but the Grass Grid can be laid directly on the ground, whether meadow, earth or similar. The customer has chosen earth, but that is up to each customer.
The Grass Grid were laid directly on the earth and also subsequently filled with earth. Subsequently sown with seeds e.g. grass seeds. For filling, however, bulk materials such as gravel, crushed stone, wood chips or the like can also be used. There is more information about this in the article detail and in the data sheet.
