Redesign the front yard and turn the lawn into a beautiful drivable gravel area with the Gravel Grid KG30

In this reference, Gravel Grid KG30 was used to redesign a landscaped front yard and transform it into a walkable/trafficable gravel surface....

First of all, the product Gravel Grid KG30 is a heavy-duty LDPE plastic Ground Grid, which in most cases, as the name suggests, is used to create and stabilize gravel surfaces. It not only prevents water from accumulating like normal gravel surfaces without the support of the grid, but also ensures that the gravel surface is smooth and without unsightly holes.

The KG30 has a load capacity of up to 400t/m2 and can support pedestrians and cars, as well as trucks. The gravel honeycomb consists of a micro-perforated base plate, with gravel cells on top, but seamless. These gravel cells have an opening width of 52 mm. Therefore, it is important to choose a grain size (gravel, crushed stone, chippings, etc.) from 5 mm to 16 mm (max. 22 mm), like the customer in this reference.

Now for the Installation. First, one should make a subgrade Create. To do this, you need to pull off the turf, straighten the area, fill it a bit with topsoil or similar and level it again. 
After creating a substructure, you can proceed to laying. The only important thing to remember here is that you may need to cut some pieces to size. Cutting a gravel grid can be done with a tool that cuts, grinds or saws. Subsequently, the individual grids can be connected to each other. The grid has 16 coupling elements each and works with a click technique.
Finally, the grid honeycombs only need to be filled. You can use any bulk material such as chippings, decorative gravel, round gravel, crushed stone or similar.
