Professional slope stabilization in private gardens
The slope mat serves not only as stabilization for the slope, but also as erosion control. This means that the slope mat prevents erosion, which can occur due to bad weather conditions. For example: in case of strong wind or rain, the overlying soil can loosen and prevent grass from growing.
Slope mats made of coir are quick and easy to install
Notes on Installation: When laying the embankment mat, make sure that the individual strips are laid next to each other perpendicular to the slope of the embankment. The overlap at the vertical longitudinal joints should be approx. 10 cm and at the transverse joints approx. 10-20 cm. The open edge of the overlap must face away from the main wind direction. The embankment mat should be secured in the ground using either Ground Anchor steel (U-shaped wire hoop) or wooden stakes, preferably made of beech, as long as no vegetation has grown.
