From 27.04 to 01.05.2018, an event was held by the German Scout Association of Saint George (DPSG) under the theme "Beacons. Extinguishing impossible!" took place. For this event/event, our floor mat BM44 were successfully used. The organizer decided to rent our 44 mm thick floor mat as a floor system in the area of supply routes and as a tent floor.
The Installation of the floor mats goes thanks to the tongue & groove connection technology very quickly, easily and above all without tools. Tongue & groove connection technology means nothing other than the interlocking of floor mats. The floor mats can be just as easily dismantled or moved to another location. The tongue & groove elements are located on the respective outer sides of the mat and are also used to attach ramps for driving up in the edge area of the floor mats.
The floor mats can be easily laid on an existing lawn, even if it is uneven, as shown here. As a separating layer we recommend to use a geotextile or Geotextile between the ground mat and the subsoil. On soft soils, the Geotextile provides better load distribution and prevents mud from pushing up through the joints.
