In Spain, gravel trackways and paths are common. But how do you keep the gravel surface looking good when it's being used by cars? We recently received these images from a customer project in Mallorca, where the KG30 gravel grid was used to design the driveway of a finca.
One might almost think this was an advertisement for a Mallorca vacation, but it actually originated from a customer project. While not everyone owns such a property, every homeowner can conjure up a similarly beautiful ambiance in their garden, front yard, or driveway. In these and similar projects involving driveway design, the primary goal is not only to create a visual highlight but also to prevent future vehicle ruts.
You can certainly imagine that once you've completed such a project, you'd be extremely reluctant to see the perfect picture transform into something completely different. Driving, walking, or maneuvering on unpaved gravel surfaces usually leaves unsightly marks. An absolute no-go!
This is precisely where the KG30 gravel grid comes in. It represents the perfect solution when it comes to creating a gravel surface that can be walked on and driven on at any time. The KG30 gravel grid enables a highly stable and unsealed surface design in all weather conditions. Even during heavy rain, rainwater is immediately drained into the ground. This reliably reduces the accumulation of rainwater in certain areas in a natural way.
Installing the gravel grid is incredibly easy. Measuring 580 × 580 mm and weighing just 900 g, you don't necessarily have to be a Herculean engineer to achieve adequate results in a short amount of time. Furthermore, the gravel grid can be processed and cut to size with any tool that cuts, grinds, or saws. This makes even curved surfaces child's play.
