Implementation directly on the existing substrate
The area was constructed without a traditional substructure. The existing lawn remained and was only lightly prepared. The elements were then laid directly on top and compacted into the ground using a vibrating plate compactor.
Existing concrete grass pavers in the center of the lane were deliberately retained and integrated into the design. Additionally, existing elements from a previous project were used. This resulted in a functional surface with minimal material and time expenditure.

Daily use quickly reveals the benefits of this measure. The surface remains stable and deforms significantly less, even with repeated use. At the same time, its overall use becomes more predictable.
