In this customer reference, a paved roadway, including a parking space for a mobile home, was laid using the RGS35 grass grid. The RGS35 plastic grass grid was chosen over a conventional concrete grass grid. The advantages of the RGS35 plastic grass grid compared to its concrete counterpart are numerous. The plastic grass grid can, for example, be laid directly on the existing lawn/meadow without a substructure, or pressed/vibrated/rolled in.

Motorhome lanes. It's amazing how simple and straightforward the installation is. The panels are very easy to cut with a utility knife. Cutting with a circular saw and angle grinder is also no problem. The vibration work is no problem with the right equipment. Since I couldn't find any instructions on what size the plate compactor needed, I had a lot of trouble at first. I found that the compaction equipment needed to be at least 500-600 kg.
By laying the RGS35 grass grid on top, you effectively save time and money that would otherwise be spent on excavation and the construction of a substructure. Apart from that, you would first need to find a civil engineer, excavator company, haulage company, or landscaping company that would provide you with a quote for the work to be carried out and who also has the time. The plastic grass grid is the perfect product for all home users, hobbyists, and home and property owners who like to take matters into their own hands—in the modern sense of DIY (do it yourself).
First, a lane of grass pavers was laid on the lawn for each axle side of the motorhome. It is recommended to take the vehicle's wheelbase into account and align the grass pavers along a guideline to achieve a straight and more attractive result.
In the next step, our customer vibrated the RGS35 grass pavers into the lawn using a vibrating plate. The softer/wetter the lawn or topsoil, the easier it is to vibrate them in. As in this reference, the driveway and steering areas should be designed somewhat wider to allow for more maneuverability.
The reasons for the decision are easy to understand, as when comparing the solutions directly you will quickly see that you save money and time with the plastic lawn pavers.

Another advantage of plastic grass pavers over concrete pavers becomes immediately apparent in midsummer. The open-pore concrete pavers heat up and, due to their high heat absorption and retention, draw moisture from the surrounding soil. The result is reduced plant growth and even dry soils and lawns.
The plastic of the grass paver doesn't absorb moisture and heats up significantly less than its concrete counterpart. The effects are correspondingly less pronounced in midsummer.
