The quick and easy solution

As you can see in the photo below, the grass pavers were laid directly on the lawn. This is also called on-top installation. After installation, the pavers were simply pressed into the ground with a vibrating plate. This also eliminates the need for subsequent filling or backfilling of the holes. This saves time and money.

The square grass paver didn't fit at the curb due to a curve. However, this wasn't a problem for the customer. They trimmed it to fit perfectly into the curve, creating a beautiful finish at the curb.

For this customer, the grass paver was laid on a flat surface. However, it can also on slopes installed and used. However, for safety reasons, it is recommended to additionally secure the lawn grids with ground anchors. This ensures greater stability of the installed area.

The newly created grass parking space is ready for immediate useAs you can see in the photo, our customer parked a car on the space shortly after it was created. There are no visible signs of the work.

Our expert tips

To simplify laying and installation, we recommend creating a subgrade. This simply means leveling the subsurface, i.e., filling any holes in the ground and/or leveling any unevenness with soil. After that, the grass pavers can be laid.

To make it easier to work them into the soil later, it is recommended to water the subsoil/ground.

To make the grass grow faster and more evenly, you can sow grass seeds in the next step or do this step before laying the grass.
