The e:tek EVO Road plate set is available in three different sizes, as 10er Set, 20er Set and as a 30er Set, available. Each includes a precisely fitting and cargo space optimized Road plate box (Stillage + 4 angles), which is hardly larger than the road plate itself and of course the e:tek EVO all-round road plates in the selected set size.
The e:tek EVO drive-over mats/excavator mats measure 2300 × 1100 × 14 mm, weigh approximately 29 kg, can withstand loads of up to 30 t**, and cover an area of approximately 2,53 m². These drive-over mats are made from high-quality, robust, and weather-resistant LDPE plastic using an extrusion process and are distinguished by their high impact resistance combined with flexibility.
Thanks to these features and the top price-performance ratio, the e:tek EVO series is one of our most popular and best-selling road plates, whether as a single plate or as a set.
Do the e:tek EVO road plates have an anti-slip profile?
Yes, the special feature of the EVO road plates is the diamond-design EvoGrip micro-profile structure, which is applied to both sides. The EvoGrip profiling doesn't necessarily reflect its performance, but in practice, the innovative micro-profiling impresses with its outstanding slip resistance and traction.
Especially in wet and humid conditions, the new anti-slip profile with its rough surface, thanks to its micro-serration and lotus blossom effect, demonstrates its strengths in every respect. Moisture and water are wicked away extremely quickly, and the adhesion of dirt and mud is significantly reduced. This not only offers practical advantages but also allows for significantly faster and easier cleaning of the road plates.
- Double-sided EvoGrip micro-profile structure
- Diamond design with lotus flower effect
- Less adhesion of dirt
- Easy to clean, with less water
Why are no connectors included in the e:tek EVO Road plate set?
Because, on the one hand, the choice of the right connector depends on the surface on which the road plates are to be laid and, on the other hand, the number of connectors required depends on how the plates are to be laid. Plastic connectors must always be used when a solid, hard, sensitive floor covering such as paving, concrete, porcelain stoneware, hall floors or coated industrial floors is to be protected from damage.
Round steel connectors They may only be used on soft, unpaved surfaces such as lawns, meadows, gravel, farmland, etc. To answer the question of how many connectors are needed per road plate, we recommend the following quantities as a rough guide based on experience:
Recommended number of connectors per panel:
- Single lane = 2× “double connector”
- Lane, 2 lanes = 2× “2-way connector” + 1× “4-way connector”
- Platform / Surface = 1× “4-way connector” + 1× “4-way connector”
Why do the e:tek EVO road plates have grip holes and connection holes?
The e:tek EVO plastic drive-over plate has connecting holes at each corner for easy connection of the plates using plastic drive-over plate connectors (for solid floors) or steel connectors (for soft floors). The drive-over plate has one handle hole on each short side. Thanks to the two handle holes and its low weight, the plastic plate is easy to carry and just as easy to transport. easy to layThe load-bearing capacity** is up to approx. 30t on paved and dry ground, up to approx. 12t on unpaved and dry ground and up to 3,5t on unpaved and wet ground.
- 2 handle holes (1 per short side)
- 4 corner holes for connecting
In which applications have e:tek Road plates proven to be a safe solution?
The e:tek EVO plastic track mats enable a improved safety and mobility On any surface, in any terrain, at any time of year, and in any weather. Thanks to their textured surface, these robust and lightweight plastic track mats ensure safe and consistent ground conditions. At the same time, they protect the underlying surface, whether grass, paving stones, or other types of flooring, from damage.
Our road mats are frequently used as temporary work platforms, temporary access solutions, temporary parking lots, tent floors, event floors, trackway systems, makeshift paths or as access routes to guide vehicle or visitor flows.
Road plates protect the subsoilThese elements distribute loads, prevent vehicles, machinery, and pedestrians from sinking, and thus effectively reduce the costs of extensive floor repairs. They reliably protect the floor surface (floor protection) and reduce the likelihood of costly floor repairs.
- Soil protection & floor protection
- Lawn protection & paving protection
- Roads & construction roads
- Landscaping & construction industries in general
- Events & Festivals
Why are road plates made of plastic sheets better than wooden formwork panels?
The major advantage of plastic trackway panels, compared to wooden formwork panels, is that they do not rot, are heat and frost resistant, break-resistant, and extremely flexible, making them reusable. Thanks to their profiled design and interlocking options, e:tek trackway panels offer improved safety and mobility. These exceptionally easy-to-handle plastic panels can be installed and removed in no time.
- Durable and frequently reusable
- Do not splinter, rot or weather
- Weather-resistant & UV-stable
- Frost and temperature resistant
