The overlapping lips ensure optimal, even load distribution by transferring the load across the entire paving system. This significantly reduces pressure on the ground and effectively prevents the paving from sinking. They also eliminate vertical and horizontal gaps between individual paving slabs. This prevents mud and dirt from washing onto the surface, keeping the area clean and safe even with intensive use. The flush transitions between the paving slabs reduce the risk of tires being cut by the edges and minimize tripping hazards.

The screw with integrated washer ensures a stable connection and sits flush with the surface of the plate. This protects it when driven over and prevents tripping hazards. The integrated screw stop prevents over-tightening and thus crushing of the plate. In combination with the elongated holes, the plates have the necessary clearance to compensate for material expansion and movement when driven over. This prevents buckling or warping.
