Art.Nr: Z-BAS-400-124-12The Ground anchor The ground anchor, or earth peg, is a solid, U-shaped steel bracket designed to improve stability and anchor road plates and ground protection mats, especially on uneven terrain with slopes, gradients, longitudinal inclines, and/or transverse slopes. Thanks to its U-shape, it eliminates the sharp edges found on simple bent ground stakes or tent pegs, preventing, among other things, punctures to air-filled tires. This also reduces the risk of injury from tripping or getting caught..
We recommend the steel ground anchor for using our road plates and ground protection plates on soft ground.
The ground anchor, in combination with the single and double steel connectors, reduces the likelihood of road plates slipping. This is particularly advantageous on sloped or inclined terrain to ensure long-term soil protection. The ground anchor should also be used in curved areas so that shear forces caused by steering movements can be better counteracted. The ground anchor is approximately 400 mm long and 124 mm wide. The steel material thickness is approximately 12,0 mm in diameter. The ends of the ground anchor are pointed to facilitate insertion into the subsoil.

Technical information and data are subject to change without notice. Errors and omissions excepted. Temperature-dependent dimensional variations of up to 3% in each direction are common for plastic products. ** Information regarding load-bearing capacity, support pressure, and protective effect are guidelines that depend on factors such as temperature, soil class, soil composition, soil bearing capacity, contact surfaces, dynamics, and the direction of force application. Therefore, an assessment of the soil or subsoil by the customer or a soil analysis by a specialist or geotechnical expert regarding the load-bearing capacity of the soil or subsoil is strongly recommended before each use.
