Preservation through conversion best describes the measures taken at the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to the Zollverein, the basis for this was the international building exhibition (IBA), which provided the impetus. Subsequently, the development of the site was driven forward with a series of new buildings, conversions, redevelopment and inventory measures. To date, Zollverein has developed into a historic and at the same time highly modern cultural and business location in Essen that is second to none.
It makes us at Securatek all the more proud that we have been able to make a small but important contribution to the preservation of the beautiful cobblestones with our floor protection panels and trackway mats. This reference shows quite impressively how versatile our plastic plates are used. They reliably protect almost any floor or floor covering by effectively distributing the load, protect the subsoil from point loads and shear forces and, thanks to the anti-slip profiling, ensure greater safety when driving over or walking on the surfaces.
