Stable mats, lying mats, floor mats or stall mats made of soft PVC or rubber are often used in stable stalls, horse stalls to reduce the amount of bedding and improve the stable climate.

We have had good experiences with them and can only recommend the stable mats. They are very easy to lay and to cut. They can be easily rinsed or swept off with a broom.
My horses love to lie on them. The biggest advantage is the absolute improvement of the stable climate - especially for horses suffering from COPD and the time saved with regard to stable work is over 1 hour daily.
