The flood of the century in 2021 in and around the Ahr valley will unfortunately go down in the history books. But it also brings to light how important it is that we have so many private, voluntary and professional helpers in the country who selflessly help the affected with diligence and sweat.
THW Fachgruppe Räumen uses road plates in the disaster area
We from Securatek are glad that we could also make a small indirect contribution to facilitate the reconstruction and the relief measures in the disaster area in Ahrweiler. Our roadway panels have already served well in a large number of operations of the nationwide operating specialist group "Räumen" (clearing) of the "Technisches Hilfswerk" (technical relief organization).
Immediate and uncomplicated provision of new roadway slabs
For this reason, more and more regional offices and local units of the THW are relying on the roadway plates that have been tried and tested in accordance with the THW-StAN , with the aim of being able to use the plates in the same system and in a compatible manner. Since the nationwide total stock of the roadway plates of the THW was not sufficient had to be procured quickly. Less than 12 hours passed between the THW's notification of demand and the collection of the plates from Securatek's warehouse in Gladenbach/Hesse.
