Description

Everyone who has a robotic mower or Robomower loves these useful little garden helpers. The Robomowers are not exactly inexpensive, but they save a lot of time in lawn care and gardening. It is all the more annoying when the lawn to be mowed has too steep a slope or incline for the robotic lawnmower and it cannot get anywhere because of the terrain. Sometimes it is also the combination of terrain and weather. Here, the lawn may simply be too damp or too wet, so that the wheels simply spin without traction.

Securatek has a simple but effective product solution for this problem as well in the form of the RN lawn nets. The lawn nets are increasingly being purchased by customers who own a robotic lawnmower as an easy-to-lay large-area traction aid. Depending on how steep the lawn is and how large and heavy the robotic lawnmower is, different versions of our lawn nets are recommended.

For smaller robotic mowers and lower slopes, experience has shown that the Lawn Reinforcement Mesh RN450 or also RN640  is recommended. The larger the Robomower and pronounced terrain, the Lawn Reinforcement Mesh RN1000  or also RN1800  is the better choice. Both nets have on the top side additionally a particularly grippy EVA coating (brown) which gives significantly more traction than comparable net without this EVA material.

The Installation of all lawn nets is conceivably simple and effortless to accomplish by one person. The lawn nets are delivered in rolls. The roll/s should be brought to the installation site and from there it can be easily unrolled. The adjustment / fitting to existing surfaces is just as easy, here a standard household scissors or even a side cutter has proven successful. Basically, you can say anything that cuts, separates or saws can be used.

After laying, the lawn nets should be anchored in the lawn with a Ground Anchor (BA200/BA230) or wire hanger. This anchoring is especially important in the beginning, so that the net stays in place. Later, when the Lawn Reinforcement Mesh has grown almost invisibly into the lawn, the Ground Anchor would theoretically no longer be needed. However, there is no reason not to leave it in the ground.
