This reference is about expanding a car parking space on a lawn, advantages of the grass paver, the Installation & the comparison to the counterpart made of concrete. The Grass Paver RGS35 can be laid easily and quickly. The later filling or refilling of the holes is omitted. There is no need to make a sub-base or chippings bed, the Grass Paver can be placed directly on the existing substrate, this is also known as "on-top" Installation.
To simplify the laying and installation, we recommend: to create a subgrade. This means nothing more than to make the subfloor level, i.e. fill in holes in the floor and/or fill in any unevenness with earth and level it out. The Grass Paver is not a solution on a straight surface, but can be installed on slopes. However, there it is recommended to fix the Grass Grid with ground anchors for safety. After that, the Grass Paver can already be laid. In order to be able to work them into the ground more easily later, it is recommended to water the subfloor/ground.
In total the Grass Paver 16 coupling points. These are located on the outside of the product. They are interlocked both horizontally and vertically. Information on the Grass Paver can be found in the data sheet.
The Grass Paver can be adjusted with tools which, separate, grind or saw.
The plastic Grass Grid can simply be laid out on turf. Then worked into the ground with a roller, vibrating machine or tamper. To make the grass grow faster and more evenly, you can sow grass seed in the next step, or you can do this step before laying.
The newly laid pitch is immediately ready for use and can be used. Another advantage of the product is that the vegetation and roots continue to grow despite use. So it is a favorable, ecological solution.
