Description

In this reference, the s:tek 48 high-performance soil protection slab was used as a mobile construction road for line construction at the Steigerwald Esselbach telecom construction site. The construction site/project was located on or under the A3 near Esselbach in the Steigerwald.

Fiber optic cables were laid there and in order to optimally execute the said construction site, our s:tek 48 ground protection panels were used as a mobile construction road or temporary Mobile access road.

The ground protection plates not only protect the subsoil, but also provide a stable, constant and safe access solution for machines, vehicles and pedestrians. Before the Mobile Construction Road System is laid, it is recommended to lay the BSV-GRK5 ground protection fleece as a separating and load-distributing carpet pad, as implemented here.

The soil protection fleece also prevents mud from being deposited from the subsoil onto the construction road. In short, it also ensures a much cleaner construction road and less contamination from mud on public paths and roads.

The soil protection plates were then laid on top of the soil protection fleece and a mobile construction road was created using steel connectors. The 39 kg light soil protection plates can be laid quite simply by hand, the connection technology functions without tools and thus 2er teams can lay in only 30 min approx. 120 square meter or 40 plates. In order not to have to carry the 39kg light trackway mats, we recommend the hand hook for pulling the plates behind, which is always included with our rental plates.

The s:tek panels were connected on the outer sides with the single connectors made of steel and in the middle of two panels with the double connectors made of steel. For easier Installation the hand hook was used.
