In this reference, the Ground Grid BG30 was used to create a horse run that was to be stabilized and also remain mud-free. The reference also shows an unusual but practical application of the BG30 floor grid. The usual procedure for the Ground Grid is actually to create a substructure, fill it and insert the Ground Grid so that it is level with the turf. It can then be filled with bulk material of your choice.
The customer of this reference, however, laid the Ground Grid the other way around so that no subfloor work needed to be done. The result was a flat surface that was immediately functional.
The Ground Grid acts in this case similar to Anchor Grid AG60/paddock plate PP60 or floor grid BR35. Also the Installation of the floor grid in this way is easier, it can simply be pressed into the ground with the foot or mechanical force.
Regarding this, the customer wrote: "To Installation I would like to say that it is very easy. I laid everything by myself. The mats have already been pressed into the floor and keep the floor dry. I have already recommended you to others."
Many thanks to the customer for the beautiful pictures & an alternative for the classic approach.
