In this private customer Do-it-Yourself (DIY) project, an immediately passable path was created in the garden with the Grass Paver RGS35.Everyone who moves, parks or wants to park a vehicle, trailer, caravan or camper in the garden knows the problem of unpaved floors. One leaves unsightly Trackways, Fahrrinnen or remains stuck and/or drives itself firmly. The solution is very easy to realize!
With the RGS35you can fix or stabilize your lawn in the garden or on the property in a very short time without extensive earthworks. It does not matter whether you want to create a walkway, driveway or parking space, you can couple the Grass Paver as you wish. This means that you can also easily lay the Grass Paver in curves and around corners.
And that's how it works! The Grass Paver RGS35 can be placed by so-called "ON-TOP-Installation" without substructure directly on the intended surface, or put on. The individual Grass Paver are firmly connected to each other thanks to the 3D coupling system (horizontally & vertically secured). The thus laid and coupled Grass Paver can now be vibrated and pressed into the lawn with a vibrating plate. Depending on the soil conditions and soil moisture, a small (150 kg) or a large (750 kg) vibrating plate may be the right choice. It is easiest when the soil / turf is moist and soft.
In the specific project, our customer opted for an alternative type of installation. Since the existing ground was too humpy, wavy and already driven out, the lawn scar was removed and a planum was made (fill holes with soil, remove elevations). This has the great advantage that the path you want to Create becomes nice and level, on the one hand, and on the other hand, the Grass Paver can be easily vibrated in and last but not least you can also sow the same new lawn.
After all Grass Paver have been placed, it may happen that some elements may need to be adjusted to the surface. This can happen with any tool that cuts, saws or separates. The Grass Grid can then be shaken into place as described above .
The surface of the grass paver has an anti-slip dimpled texture that is designed to provide additional traction.
