Connect floor protection plates & trackway mats quickly and without tools as Construction Road or Platform

Description

How to connect without tools, quickly and easily trackway mats or plastic floor protection panels as Construction Road, road or platform? With the ingenious quick connection system from Securatek, connecting or coupling the trackway mats is child's play.

Connecting plastic floor protection plates trackway mats - This is how it works

1. Joiner insert into lying trackway mat

Joiner insert into the connecting holes of the lying trackway mat or floor protection plate and place the new plate vertically in front of it.

2. Joiner insert through adjusted trackway mat

Place the plate to be connected at the Joiner of the lying plate congruent with the connecting holes. Lightly step against the bottom of the positioned plate so that the ends of the Joiner pierce through the plate.

3. Lowering the adjusted trackway mat

Simply lower the adjusted plate in a controlled manner - that's it!

trackway mats connect or install as mobile Construction Road 2-lane

To connect a mobile Construction Road 2-lane we recommend to use per trackway mat 2 x single steel connectors at the corner holes and 1 x double connector at the short side of the trackway mat and lane.

trackway mats to connect or lay as a 3-lane road or as Platform

To connect a mobile Construction Road 3-lane or as Platform we recommend in principle always to use all connection holes and possibilities of trackway mat.

trackway mats connect with 4 connection holes

For trackway mats with 4 corner holes we recommend to use only double connectors made of steel to connect or couple the trackway mats with each other.

trackway mats connect with 12 connection holes

The trackway mats with 12 connecting holes have 4 x single holes on each corner of the trackway mat and double holes centered on each of the 4 sides of the trackway mat.

Also for trackway mats with 12 corner holes we recommend using only double connectors made of steel to connect or couple the trackway mats with each other.

Connecting floor protection plates with 16 connection holes

The floor protection plates with 16 connecting holes have 4 x single holes on each corner of the floor protection plate and 2 x double holes on each long side, and 1x double holes on each short side of the floor protection plate.

Why is it important to connect the trackway mats together in the first place?

The Joiner or connecting clips for trackway mats and floor protection panels allow the panels to be laid in a composite manner. At the same time, the localization and surface load distribution is significantly improved.

Provided that all connecting holes of the plastic plates, as also recommended, the work safety increases by smaller stumbling danger, at the same time the wear at the trackway mats decreases.

Which Joiner to use for which substrate or floor?

Joiner made of steel for Soft Grounds

The single connectors and double connectors made of steel shown here in the video are recommended for all soft soils and subsoils, such as lawn, gravel, crushed stone, topsoil, etc.

Joiner made of plastic for hard, sensitive and protective soils

For all hard, sensitive and protective soils, floor coverings, floor systems and floor coatings we recommend to use our single connectors made of plastic with reinforcement. Typical floors as examples are the following: Pavement, tar, asphalt, indoor floors, industrial floors, tartan track, sports floors, tiled floors, porcelain stoneware, etc.

Should you use a separating carpet pad for trackway mats?

Geotextile or rubber granulate mats as underlayment

No matter on which floor trackway mats, floor protection slabs, drive-over slabs or roadway slabs are to be laid, we always recommend using a carpet pad.

Geotextile or Geotextile as a separating layer for Soft Grounds

The geotextile is laid between the subfloor and trackway mat. Among other things, it improves load distribution and, thanks to its filtering effect, also reduces the possibility of mud and sludge pressing up between the joints of the slabs.

Rubber granulate matting as a separator for hard floors requiring protection

The rubber granulate mat is laid between the subfloor and trackway mat. The mats improve the locality of the floating trackway mats. They also have a shock-absorbing effect and reduce the likelihood that the trackway mats and Joiner will leave marks on the floor.
