The PP55 paddock plate is an extra large (74x54cm / 0.40m2) solid paddock platethe PP55 is a particularly large (74x54cm / 0.40m2) and solid paddock plate for direct laying on the mud without substructure, perfect for horses & paddocks. The large paddock plates of plastic are suitable for direct laying on the existing subsoil without substructure. It is almost no matter whether the paddock plates are laid on sand, gravel, grass, meadow or even in the mud. Thus, it is possible in a short time and without extensive and costly earthworks to stabilize an existing floor highly resilient and load-bearing. Thanks to the simple construction, the paddock plate can be laid either with the perforated structure or with the grid structure as the top surface, depending on the application.
Paddock plate PP55 EVO - Light version 7,5 kg /pce
The EVO version of the paddock plate was developed for all applications that do not require the use of the solid PRO version. Thanks to the particularly large dimensions (74x54cm / 0.40m2) and the ingenious underside construction with air storage chambers, the EVO can also be laid directly on the mud and without a substructure. It is almost no matter whether the paddock plates are laid on sand, gravel, grass, meadow or as already described in the mud. Thus it is possible in shortest time and without complex as well as costly earthworks an existing soil highly loadable and load-carrying to stabilize.
Another highlight of the paddock plates is the slightly softer, more elastic and cushioning material. This is not only clearly only joint-gentler for humans and animal, but offers in the combination with the Profilierung an likewise improved slip resistance.
Another feature that should be emphasized is the simple way in which the paddock plates are interlocked or coupled with each other. The paddock plates are pushed into each other similar to a zipper system. The interlocked and coupled paddock panels secure themselves against vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) sliding apart. The interlocking of the paddock panels creates a tight bond from which the mats can only be removed from the edge. The middle mats cannot be removed, which makes it impossible for individual mats to stand up or be scraped up. Laying the paddock slabs in a half-bond with a T-joint is also no problem with the rectangular slabs.
The 54 circular drainage openings (approx. ø 25mm) in the PP55 EVO paddock slab enable ecological soil stabilization with an outstanding drainage function without sealing the soil. Even in seasons with high rainfall, the formation of mud and puddles caused by waterlogging can hardly affect the soil thus paved. The paddock plate is often used for so-called mud paddocks and laid directly in the mud. The robust and durable PVC plastic (recycled) is extremely weatherproof, temperature-resistant and UV-resistant.
Just as easily, an area paved with the paddock panels can also be dismantled again. This is particularly advantageous when mobile shelters, feeding stations, etc. are used, or to protect heavily used areas by changing the surface. Paddock slabs have proven their worth in recent years, especially in horse husbandry, and are also being used more and more frequently in livestock and farm animal husbandry.
According to the different applications, paddock slabs are also called quite different. Here are some examples: Paddock mat, paddock grid, grid hole plate, mud plate, honeycomb plate, floor grid, floor grid, stable mat, riding arena mat, riding arena grid, riding arena plate, cow mat and many more...
Paddock plate PP55 PRO - Heavy version with 15 kg/piece
Another feature of the Paddock Plate PP55 PRO that should be emphasized is the massive web thickness. In particular, the simple way of interlocking or coupling the paddock panels with each other, does not reveal itself at first glance. Roughly speaking, the paddock panels are pushed into each other on the ground, similar to a zipper system. The paddock panels, thus interlocked and coupled, secure themselves against vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) sliding apart. Laying the paddock slabs in a semi-bond with a T-joint is also no problem with the rectangular slabs.
