Applications & Highlights
Anchor grid AG60 - 0,16 m² - 400 x 400 x 60 mm - 2mm profile thickness - 900g - Loadable up to approx. 100 tons - On-Top, In-Top, On-Sub installation. The anchor grid AG60 is a floor grid made of plastic which combines two innovations in one product. The original idea for the anchor grid comes from the field of vintners and winegrowers, who were looking for a trafficable and traction-enhancing soil stabilization for safe cultivation of steep slopes
The first unique feature is the 16 massive anchor elements located on the underside of the anchor grid. Each of these 16 anchor elements penetrates 4.0 cm into the ground and anchors the grid solidly in the ground with a total anchor area of approx. 500 cm² per grid. Due to this unique product feature, the anchor grating is recommended for low-erosion soil reinforcement, especially for the reinforcement of paths and areas with inclines or declines.
The second special feature is the construction of the anchor grid, which is the only grid with two load-bearing or load-distributing levels. Thus, the weight-bearing area of one grating is 100% (50% + 50%). The difference in height of the levels is 1.6 cm, and 120 drainage holes between the bearing levels ensure excellent water permeability and unsealed surface design.
On the top of the anchor grid there is the 2 mm thick anti-slip profile. The profiling provides additional safety for people, animals or vehicles on all paths and surfaces with slopes or inclines in bad weather conditions. The grid opening width of the individual cells is only 5.0 cm. Thus, the anchor grid is suitable for all applications and is also frequently used in animal husbandry / horse husbandry as a paddock slab or paddock grid due to the quick and easy laying without substructure.
On soft topsoil, lawn or meadow, the anchor grid can be laid directly and without the time-consuming production of a substructure. It is recommended to press the grid into the ground by simply vibrating and/or rolling it in. Alternatively, you can also drive the grid carefully into the ground with your own car. This saves a lot of time and money compared to conventional lawn grids, lawn grid stones or lawn honeycombs.
For the construction of surfaces and paths with gravel, crushed stone or chippings, the following soil structure is recommended: 20 cm base layer (grain size 0-40 mm), 10 cm leveling layer (1- 15 mm). Both layers should be leveled and compacted. The anchor plate is laid directly on the leveling layer thus produced and must then be vibrated in with a heavy compactor. As a result of the vibrating, the cells between the bearing planes of the grid are automatically filled with the rock of the compensation layer. The cells should fill with rock up to the top edge; it is not absolutely necessary to cover the anchor grid with the bulk material.
Note: Due to the target group-oriented marketing of the product, we would like to point out that the Paddock Plate PP60 and the Anchor Grid AG60 are identical in construction.
