Gravel grid KG30 - 0,3364 m² - 580 x 580 x 30 mm - 400,0 t/m² - 0,900 kg - 16 couplings - 52 mm grid opening width - micro-perforated base plate instead of fleece. Professional quality from the Galabau for the stabilization of gravel, crushed stone and chippings. Gravel grid KG30 made of plastic for easy and quick self-laying. The gravel grid KG30 is one of the most robust gravel grids (gravel honeycomb/soil honeycomb) for sustainable gravel stabilization with gravel, chippings or crushed stone. Thanks to the extremely water-permeable microperforated base plate of the gravel grid, the natural drainage capacity of the bulk material is fully retained. At the same time, the base plate of the gravel grid prevents filled gravel from getting under the grid and migrating into the subsoil. The heavy-duty cell structure on the top of the gravel grid secures the gravel against lateral slippage, thus maintaining an even distribution of the gravel in the gravel honeycombs.

The gravel grid KG30 is the perfect solution when it comes to creating gravel paths and surfaces that can be walked on and driven over at any time. The gravel grid KG30 enables a highly stable and unsealed surface design under all weather conditions. Even during heavy rainfall, the rainwater is immediately drained into the ground. Thus, in a natural way, the accumulation of rainwater in places is reliably reduced.

Due to the unique design of the gravel grid, there is no other product with comparable properties. The micro-perforated base plate and the gravel cells are seamlessly and inseparably manufactured from a single cast. The base plate of the gravel grid is many times more robust, durable and water-permeable than any non-woven material.

Additional laying costs as well as laying effort for a nonwoven are thus eliminated. 16 coupling points per gravel grid panel make it possible to firmly connect the individual gravel grids with each other in order to build up a dimensionally stable overall surface. Without this connection technology, individual gravel grids could lift or sink or even threaten to slide apart. The optimum grain size for the gravel grid should be selected between 5mm and 16mm. However, the grain size of the smallest grain should not exceed 20mm.
